History of Harmony Collection :


At the beginning of the Nineties, Morocco lived a spectacular passion of some Moroccans and foreigners for the rehabilitation of the architectural heritage of the Kingdom. The old houses located in medina (the riads) were restored and transformed into guest houses. According to data which it is difficult to check, the city of Marrakech would only contain more than 500 riads, and this phenomenon was spread to cities like Essaouira, Fez or Tangier. And as for any fashion effect, good and bad things are achieved...


What is HARMONY COLLECTION :


It is following this observation that was born the will to sort out through this new offer of lodging by operating a rigorous selection among these hundreds of riads and guest houses, in order to propose to the most impassioned travellers, and to those in search of excellence, the best properties Morocco has to offer.


Then was born in 2002 HARMONY COLLECTION, a luxury hotel soft brand, having for vocation to federate independent properties of small sizes, mainly boutique-hotels, riads, guest houses and some Deluxe hotels, offering exceptional attributes and a personalized service for the most demanding guests.

The HARMONY COLLECTION members are unique places, which alone represent destinations unto themselves.

 

Who are the hotels’ members of HARMONY COLLECTION


Today, HARMONY COLLECTION gets a strong brand name and gathers 30 carefully selected properties over eight Moroccan cities.

Those properties have earned membership in HARMONY COLLECTION thanks to their high levels of personal attention and the refined service they provide.

The guarantee of welcoming quality and services level of each hotel of the group is ensured by constant check-ups made by the “Quality Control Department” of Harmony Collection in each individual hotel.

Moreover, a guest satisfaction survey is sent by e-mail to each guest to collect its impressions and to measure its satisfaction degree. 

 

What is HARMONY COLLECTION goals :


Today, the investments needed in new technologies become so huge that independent small hotels cannot stay isolated. Because of the limited promotion and marketing means they have, they cannot promote themselves effectively.


As a Moroccan soft chain, HARMONY COLLECTION pools together the marketing funds of its members, in order to promote them and to make an impact on the overall market. In this sense, HARMONY COLLECTION is a network of luxury small independent properties that work together to promote themselves through group advertising,  marketing, promotion and technology.

The Hotels affiliated with HARMONY COLLECTION have an essential common aim : to enhance their financial results by instigating their commercial performances, increasing their average prices in high season, and their  occupancy rates in low season.  

They thus gathered to create an expert commercial force, powerful, operational and able to sell each hotel on the most potent international markets. This sales force is made up of five commercial teams specialized respectively on all the distribution networks.

This is the mission of HARMONY COLLECTION : to offer to each affiliated hotel the expertise and the operational work of a commercial force specialized in the tourism, business, seminaries, Internet and GDS markets.

All HARMONY COLLECTION's partners are located on the transmitting "most profitable" markets to know : USA, Canada, GB, Brazil, Australia, Japan, Scandinavia, Northern Europe, Italy, Switzerland, France, Germany, Benelux, Russia… Our distribution channels are today around 200 TO, TA and Corporate accounts. We continually animate our distribution channel through special offers and road shows to ensure our partners of the high quality of our establishments. 

 

What is HARMONY COLLECTION incomes :


HARMONY COLLECTION is neither a Travel Agent, nor a Tour Operator or a DMC. HARMONY COLLECTION is a hotel group federating small independent hotels, putting at the disposal of its members a multitude of services.
 

 

So HARMONY COLLECTION doesn’t charge any commission and any booking fees. Its incomes result from the monthly royalties (or monthly marketing fees) which paid by its members.
